Authenticated portal takeover via missing object authorization
Published Aug 24, 2026 · Updated Aug 24, 2026
Broken object-level authorization in Dolibarr ERP & CRM before 24.0.0 allows remote authenticated users to take over company portal accounts. The postSocieteAccount and putSocieteAccount handlers accept an attacker-selected company ID but omit the _checkAccessToResource call used by read routes. A user with third-party creation rights can replace another company’s WebPortal password, read its prior verifier in the response, and then access that company’s invoices.
