Unauthenticated stored XSS via Vue template compilation
Published Aug 6, 2026 · Updated Aug 6, 2026
Stored cross-site scripting in MISP Project CTI-Transmute 1.5.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to run JavaScript in viewers' sessions. Jinja escapes conversion names and descriptions as HTML, but Vue recompiles them inside mounted DOM regions and evaluates embedded [[ ... ]] expressions. An anonymous public conversion supplies the stored payload; execution requires another user to open an affected page and exposes that user's application data and session-authorized actions.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
