Path traversal in Infracost before 0.10.45 allows remote attackers to read runner-accessible files through repository-controlled templates. The readFile, pathExists, isDir, and matchPaths functions accept a lexically confined path after checking only its leaf, then os.ReadFile and related operations follow an intermediate directory symlink beyond the checkout. Exploitation requires a crafted repository or pull request to be processed by Infracost; exposed content reaches generated configuration, dashboard output, or pull request comments.
