Authenticated SQL injection via unescaped fname interpolation
Published Apr 27, 2026 · Updated Apr 27, 2026
SQL injection in CodeAstro Online Classroom 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to alter database queries through the fname field. The /OnlineClassroom/addnewfaculty handler places the POST fname value directly inside a quoted INSERT statement without parameterization or escaping. A valid application session is required to submit the faculty-creation form; crafted input permits database reads or writes within the database account's permissions.
