CVE-2026-71467Network attack vectorHinoki check available

Federated search disclosure via spoofed upgrade header

Published Aug 11, 2026 · Updated Aug 11, 2026

Authentication bypass in Red Hat Advanced Cluster Management for Kubernetes allows remote attackers to read federated search results. The search-v2-api authentication middleware treats any request carrying an Upgrade: websocket header as a WebSocket connection and skips authentication for POST requests to /federated. Exposure requires FEATURE_FEDERATED_SEARCH, which is enabled by default in Global Hub deployments but disabled by default in standard deployments.
