Authenticated internal schema disclosure via exception reflection
Published Sep 23, 2026 · Updated Sep 23, 2026
Information disclosure in Ansible Automation Platform allows remote authenticated users to read internal ORM and database details via host_filter. HostList passes host_filter input to SmartFilter, catches every resulting exception, and returns its unredacted string in an HTTP 400 error response. Remote authenticated users with hosts-endpoint access can expose the Host relation graph through an invalid related-field lookup or raw PostgreSQL diagnostics through a malformed regular expression.
