Cross-tenant resource enumeration via differential 404 responses
Published Sep 23, 2026 · Updated Sep 23, 2026
Information disclosure in Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform allows remote authenticated users to enumerate named resources across tenants. URLModificationMiddleware resolves attacker-supplied named URLs through an unfiltered model manager before RBAC, then routes misses through primary key zero, producing distinguishable 404 bodies. A valid tenant account and resource-name guesses expose the existence of organizations, credentials, inventories, and internal hostnames, but not their contents.
