Unauthenticated code execution via undisclosed authorization failure
Published Aug 11, 2026 · Updated Aug 11, 2026
Incorrect authorization in Adobe ColdFusion 2025 2025.0.11 and earlier and 2023 2023.0.22 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute code. Adobe has not disclosed the affected component or the authorization check that accepts an unauthorized request and reaches code execution. The component is confined to an administrative network zone by default; exploitation needs no user interaction and runs code as the current ColdFusion user.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=0 <=2023.0.22

Attacks
What attackers are doing with it
Daily unique IPs observed by Shadowserver honeypots for known exploited vulnerabilities (KEVs). Missing observations do not establish an absence of attacks.
Public exploit references
No public exploit references are available in this record.
Labels summarize the accepted research assessment. They do not indicate a test against your environment.
