CVE-2026-71378Network attack vectorHinoki check available

CSRF bypass via permissive fetch metadata policy

Published Aug 31, 2026 · Updated Aug 31, 2026

Cross-site request forgery in Apache Wicket 9.1.0 through 9.23.0 and 10.0.0 through 10.10.0 allows remote attackers to invoke page listeners. FetchMetadataResourceIsolationPolicy allows cross-site top-level GET navigations and all same-site requests, so ResourceIsolationRequestCycleListener accepts requests from untrusted origins. A victim must have an authenticated session and follow an attacker-controlled navigation, or a hostile sibling origin must issue the request; successful requests run the targeted listener with the victim's authority.
