Script execution via unescaped Header.tpl metadata

Cross-site scripting in Header.tpl in Thinkingreed Inc. F-RevoCRM 7.3.0 through 8.0.3 allows attackers to execute script via a crafted URL. The v7 Header.tpl templates write _META, _EXTENSIONMETA, and _USERMETA values into inline JavaScript string literals without JavaScript escaping; a request-derived parent parameter can break out of the string, and some user-stored metadata can do the same. Exploitation requires a user to follow a crafted page or URL while logged in, after which code runs in the CRM origin and can trigger unintended actions or expose session data available to that session.
