Unauthenticated data disclosure via orderBy SQL injection
Published Oct 5, 2026 · Updated Oct 5, 2026
SQL injection in Maestro REST API list endpoints in Red Hat Multicluster Engine for Kubernetes allows remote attackers to extract database data. The list endpoints use attacker-controlled orderBy input in SQL ordering, enabling blind inference of stored values from query behavior. No authentication is required to reach the reported injection point, and the reported extraction is read-only rather than a database write.
