Browser script execution via unencoded category ID
Published Apr 27, 2026 · Updated Apr 27, 2026
Cross-site scripting in SourceCodester Pharmacy Sales and Inventory System 1.0 allows remote attackers to run script in a user's browser. The categories page writes the id query parameter into its HTML response without filtering or context-appropriate output encoding. No login is required to supply the payload, but a user must load the crafted request before the script runs in that user's browser.
