Unauthenticated agent command execution via exposed REST API
Published Aug 5, 2026 · Updated Aug 5, 2026
Missing authentication in NASA AMMOS ANMS allows remote attackers to issue commands to registered DTNMA agents through port 8089. The default Compose file exposes AMP Manager, while its CivetWeb setup disables domain checks and registers command and report routes without authentication. Network access to port 8089 is sufficient to enumerate agents, dispatch EXECSET commands, read reports, or clear stored reports without credentials.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
