Authenticated SQL injection via unsafe report ordering
Published Aug 5, 2026 · Updated Aug 5, 2026
SQL injection in Koha 26.05.01-1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read sensitive database data via crafted report ordering. The guided report builder concatenates order_by and dynamically named {order}_ovalue parameters into an ORDER BY clause without validation or an allowlist. The create_reports or execute_reports permission is sufficient, enabling time-based extraction of patron PII and credential material.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
