Unauthenticated reflected XSS via unescaped contact fields
Published Aug 5, 2026 · Updated Aug 5, 2026
Reflected XSS in 299Ko 0 allows remote attackers to execute script in a visitor's browser through crafted public contact-form fields. ContactController.php passes raw name, firstname, email, and message POST values to templates, while Template.php's _show_var() emits them without HTML escaping into an attribute and textarea. The public endpoint requires no authentication, but a visitor must submit or be induced to submit the form before the injected script runs in that visitor's browser, exposing that session to script-level actions.
