Unauthenticated sequencing-data writes via missing request authentication
Published Aug 5, 2026 · Updated Aug 5, 2026
Authorization bypass in NASA AMMOS PlanDev Sequencing Server 0 allows remote attackers to write sequencing data without authentication. The middleware passes body-supplied session_variables to getHasuraSession before JWT claims, allowing a forged aerie_admin role; put-dictionary is also whitelisted. No credentials are required to insert expansion rules or command dictionaries that govern how spacecraft activities are translated into commands.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
