Authenticated command execution via unfiltered countrystr parameter
Published Apr 27, 2026 · Updated Apr 27, 2026
OS command injection in Tenda HG3 2.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary commands through the countrystr parameter. The /boaform/formCountrystr handler concatenates the unfiltered parameter into an operating system command, allowing shell metacharacters to add commands. Exploitation requires low-privileged network access to the management handler and grants command execution with the handler's device privileges.
