Authenticated password disclosure via missing data-source authorization
Published Oct 8, 2026 · Updated Oct 8, 2026
Authorization bypass in Apache DolphinScheduler before 3.4.3 allows remote authenticated users to read passwords via data-source APIs. The /unauth-datasource and /authed-datasource endpoints return connection details and passwords without enforcing data-source access controls. A logged-in account lacking permission for the returned data sources is sufficient; subsequent database access depends on database reachability and the disclosed credentials' privileges.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.

Attacks
What attackers are doing with it
Daily unique IPs observed by Shadowserver honeypots for known exploited vulnerabilities (KEVs). Missing observations do not establish an absence of attacks.
Activity data is delayed. The latest report is Sep 28, 2026.
