CVE-2026-71171Network attack vector

Remote code execution via REST API command injection

Published Aug 26, 2026 · Updated Aug 26, 2026

OS command injection in Dell Cloud Disaster Recovery 20.2 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute commands through its REST API. The REST API accepts special elements in an OS command without adequate neutralization; Dell has not disclosed the affected endpoint, parameter, or command-building operation. Exploitation requires a high-privileged account; successful commands run with the service's authority and can read or alter data or interrupt service.
