Local low-privilege data access and modification
Published Aug 18, 2026 · Updated Aug 20, 2026
Improper access control in the Imperative Web Server in Oracle Helidon 4.5.0 allows local users to read and modify accessible data. Oracle has not published the flawed endpoint, class, or authorization check; the public Oracle and GitHub records disclose only that access restrictions fail within the web server component. Exploitation requires low privileges and logon to the infrastructure hosting Helidon, so exposure is limited to local users rather than remote HTTP clients.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
