High-privilege unauthorized modification of connector data
Published Aug 18, 2026 · Updated Aug 19, 2026
Improper access control in Oracle Agile PLM MCAD Connector 3.6 allows local users with high privileges to modify accessible data. Oracle identifies the affected locus only as the CAX Client and has not disclosed the operation that mishandles access control. Exploitation requires local logon to the connector host, high privileges, and a difficult condition; the bounded consequence is unauthorized insertion, update, or deletion of some connector-accessible data.

Attacks
What attackers are doing with it
Daily unique IPs observed by Shadowserver honeypots for known exploited vulnerabilities (KEVs). Missing observations do not establish an absence of attacks.
