Authenticated arbitrary file upload via mismatched validation
Published Apr 27, 2026 · Updated Apr 27, 2026
Unrestricted file upload in Code Projects Invoice System in Laravel 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to place files in a public directory. The POST /company logo flow validates a different form field name, so the logo input bypasses image checks and writes attacker-supplied content under public/uploads. Administrative access to company CRUD operations is required, and an uploaded PHP script yields code execution only when the web server executes it.
