CVE-2026-71046

Local takeover via access control flaw

Published Aug 18, 2026 · Updated Aug 19, 2026

Improper access control in Oracle Agile PLM 9.3.6 allows local users to take over the application via the Security component. Oracle discloses only the generic Security component, and the public record does not identify a file, function, or workflow; the published CWE-284 mapping indicates that intended authorization boundaries are not enforced. Exploitation requires a low-privileged logon on the host or infrastructure where Agile PLM runs, after which compromise can have full confidentiality, integrity, and availability impact and may affect integrated products because Oracle scores the issue with scope changed.
