Unauthenticated critical data read and modification
Published Aug 18, 2026 · Updated Aug 18, 2026
Authorization failure in Oracle Commerce Guided Search/Experience Manager 11.4.0 allows remote attackers to read and modify critical data via HTTP. Oracle identifies the Endeca Application Controller as the affected locus but does not disclose the request, endpoint, or authorization operation that mishandles untrusted HTTP input. No credentials or user interaction are required; a successful request grants complete read access and creation, deletion, or modification of accessible data.
