Unauthenticated data manipulation and crash
Published Aug 18, 2026 · Updated Aug 18, 2026
Improper access control in Oracle Commerce Guided Search / Experience Manager 11.4.0 lets remote attackers modify data and crash the service via HTTP. Oracle states only that the flaw is in the Content Acquisition System and has not published the vulnerable endpoint, code path, or the unsafe operation on attacker-controlled input. Exposure requires unauthenticated network reachability to the HTTP interface; published impact is bounded to unauthorized data creation, deletion, or modification and hang or repeatable crash conditions, not confidentiality loss or full takeover.
