Privilege escalation in Oracle Payroll in Oracle E-Business Suite 12.2.3 through 12.2.15 allows local users to take over the application. Oracle identifies the issue only as an Internal Operations flaw and does not publish the vulnerable function, input path, or the incorrect operation performed on untrusted input. Exploitation requires low privileges and logon to the host where Oracle Payroll runs, and Oracle states that compromise can extend beyond Payroll because the vulnerability has scope change.
