Stored script injection via unescaped chat message
Published Apr 27, 2026 · Updated Apr 27, 2026
Stored XSS in Code Projects Chat System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to inject script through the Chat Interface's msg parameter. /admin/send_message.php stores the submitted msg value and later renders it in chat content without neutralizing executable markup. Administrative privileges are required to submit the payload, and another user's interaction is required for browser-side execution, limiting the reported impact to content integrity.
