Authenticated data tampering and disclosure
Published Aug 18, 2026 · Updated Aug 19, 2026
Access control flaw in Oracle Installed Base 12.2.3 through 12.2.15 allows remote authenticated users to read or modify data via HTTP. Oracle places the issue in the User Interface component, but public records do not disclose the failing page, handler, or check; the available evidence is limited to a broad CWE-284 improper access control mapping. Exploitation requires low-privileged application access with no user interaction, and the reported consequence is limited to subset data disclosure, unauthorized data changes, and partial service interruption.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
