CVE-2026-7068Public exploit

Router memory corruption via unchecked NBNS copy

Published Apr 26, 2026 · Updated Apr 26, 2026

Stack-based buffer overflow in D-Link DIR-825 3.00b32 allows remote attackers to corrupt router memory via crafted NBNS traffic. NMBD_process in nmbd copies attacker-controlled NetBIOS Name Service data into a fixed-size stack buffer without validating its length. No authentication or user interaction is required, but the attacker must share the local network; the public record does not distinguish a crash from code execution.
