CVE-2026-7067Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Unauthenticated command execution via DHCP hostname

Published Apr 26, 2026 · Updated Apr 26, 2026

Command injection in the udhcpd DHCP service in D-Link DIR-822 A_101 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands via DHCP. The service concatenates the client-supplied DHCP Option 12 hostname into a shell command and passes it to system() without sanitizing shell metacharacters. An unauthenticated attacker must reach the router's DHCP service on the local network, then gains command execution with the service's privileges.
