Local file disclosure via unrestricted redirect schemes

SSRF in Electron allows remote attackers to disclose local file contents through an HTTP redirect to a local-resource scheme. The net.fetch() and net.request() redirect handlers follow a server-supplied Location target without restricting its URI scheme, allowing a remote HTTP response to invoke the local file loader. Exposure requires an application to request an attacker-influenced URL, follow redirects, and return or forward the resulting response body.
