CVE-2026-70590Network attack vectorHinoki check available

Staff password hash disclosure via unrestricted NQL filters

Published Aug 4, 2026 · Updated Aug 4, 2026

Information disclosure in Ghost before 6.54.1 allows remote authenticated users to infer other staff users' password hashes. The pages, posts, and post-export Admin API paths passed untrusted NQL filters into database queries without the restricted-field transformer, enabling predicate-based hash inference. Staff-level access and repeated crafted filter requests are required; offline guessing can enable account takeover if Device Verification is bypassed.
