Cross-user post deletion via unconstrained record lookup
Published May 13, 2026 · Updated May 13, 2026
Missing authorization in Adenion GmbH Blog2Social 8.9.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to delete other users' post records. B2S_Post_Tools::deleteUserPublishPost() and deleteUserSchedPost() query wp_b2s_posts by attacker-supplied postId without a blog_user_id ownership constraint. Subscriber-level WordPress access and a sequential record identifier are sufficient to soft-delete published or scheduled records across users, disrupting social-media publishing workflows.
