CVE-2026-70436Network attack vectorHinoki check available

Authenticated workspace file disclosure via missing authorization check

Published Aug 5, 2026 · Updated Aug 5, 2026

Missing authorization in Jenkins External Workspace Manager Plugin 1.4.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read workspace files. The workspace browser omits a permission check through 1.4.0 and applies the wrong check in 1.4.1 before serving externally managed workspace content. Overall/Read permission is sufficient, exposing files from workspaces the account is not authorized to access without granting write access.
