CVE-2026-70415Network attack vector

Unauthenticated command execution via NFS RPC overflow

Published Aug 18, 2026 · Updated Aug 20, 2026

Buffer overflow in NFS/RPC in Dell Technologies PowerStore before 5.0.0.2-2761110 allows remote attackers to execute commands or crash SDNAS. Public records identify an unchecked copy of network-supplied data inside the SDNAS NFS/RPC implementation, but Dell has not disclosed the affected function, packet field, or code path. Reachability requires exposure of the NFS/RPC service and no authentication or user interaction; successful exploitation can produce remote code execution or a service outage.
