Authenticated token exfiltration via attacker-selected secret namespace
Published Aug 12, 2026 · Updated Aug 12, 2026
Confused-deputy behavior in Red Hat Advanced Cluster Management allows remote authenticated users to exfiltrate spoke bearer tokens. The multicloud-integrations GitOpsCluster controller trusts spec.argoServer.argoNamespace and writes managed-cluster secrets into that attacker-selected namespace instead of enforcing the intended destination. Tenant access sufficient to create or alter a GitOpsCluster resource reaches the flaw, exposing tokens that permit cluster access and bypass ArgoCD AppProject policy boundaries.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
