Database disclosure via unbound report parameters
Published Aug 4, 2026 · Updated Aug 4, 2026
SQL injection in Koha allows remote authenticated users with reports permission to read any table available to its database account. The calculate subroutine in reports/issues_stats.pl concatenates PeriodTypeSel, PeriodDaySel, PeriodMonthSel, Filter, Line, and Column values into SQL without placeholders or allowlists. A staff account with the reports module permission is required; exploitation exposes borrower credentials, two-factor secrets, personal data, API keys, and active sessions.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
