Spoofing via unneutralized web output
Published Aug 11, 2026 · Updated Aug 25, 2026
Cross-site scripting in Microsoft SharePoint Server allows remote attackers to spoof trusted content via crafted web requests. Microsoft has not published which page or parameter fails to neutralize attacker-controlled input before SharePoint renders it into a response. Exploitation is network-reachable and unauthenticated, but it requires a victim to load the malicious SharePoint content or follow a crafted link, with no published server-side code-execution impact.
