Unauthenticated workflow execution via trusted debug headers
Published Apr 26, 2026 · Updated Apr 26, 2026
Improper authentication in SmythOS Runtime Environment 0.0.15 and earlier allows remote attackers to invoke debug execution via HTTP headers. AgentRuntime reads X-DEBUG-RUN and X-DEBUG-INJ from untagged requests and enables or injects debug state without an authentication check. No credentials or user interaction are required; crafted requests can run or alter an agent workflow under the runtime's configured access.
