CVE-2026-7020Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Arbitrary file read via tensor digest traversal

Published Apr 26, 2026 · Updated Apr 26, 2026

Path traversal in Ollama 0.20.0 through 0.20.2 allows remote attackers to read arbitrary host files through the model transfer API. digestToPath accepts parent-directory segments from a tensor-layer digest in a registry manifest and resolves them outside the model store. An unauthenticated attacker must operate reachable registries and know a target file's approximate size, after which copy and push requests disclose that file.
