Code execution via unchecked sprintf of page
Published Apr 26, 2026 · Updated Apr 26, 2026
Stack-based buffer overflow in Tenda F456 firmware 1.0.0.5 allows remote authenticated users to execute code via a crafted page parameter. The fromP2pListFilter function passes the unbounded page value to sprintf, which writes it into the fixed-size stack buffer s without a length check. Access to the router management interface is required; exploitation can crash httpd or execute code with the service's privileges.
