Self-XSS via unencoded ushka name
Published Apr 26, 2026 · Updated Apr 26, 2026
Stored XSS in the ushki plugin in MaxSite CMS 109.0 through 109.3 allows remote authenticated users to run script via an ushka name. The plugin's admin.php renders each stored ushka name into an HTML span and input value without htmlspecialchars encoding. Exploitation requires high-privileged access and user interaction, and the vendor classifies the behavior as self-XSS, limiting script execution to the submitting user's administrative browser.
