CVE-2026-7014Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Self-XSS via unescaped down_count option values

Published Apr 26, 2026 · Updated Apr 26, 2026

Stored cross-site scripting in MaxSite CMS 109.0 through 109.3 allows remote authenticated users to execute script via down_count settings. The down_count plugin admin form inserts stored file and URL-prefix option values into f_file and f_prefix input attributes without HTML escaping. Administrator-level access and passive browser rendering are required; the vendor classifies the behavior as self-XSS, so impact is limited to the submitting user’s session.
