Information disclosure via out-of-bounds read
Published Sep 8, 2026 · Updated Sep 9, 2026
An out-of-bounds read in Microsoft Windows DHCP Server allows remote attackers to disclose information through network requests. Microsoft has not published the affected parser or the malformed DHCP field that causes the server to read beyond its intended buffer. Exploitation requires network reachability to a system running the DHCP Server component; the documented consequence is information disclosure only.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
