Database read and modification via page-sort injection
Published Apr 25, 2026 · Updated Apr 25, 2026
SQL injection in ShowDoc 3.8.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read or modify database data through the page-sort API. The sort method in PageController decodes the pages parameter and, in affected releases, uses its keys and values in database updates without first constraining them to integers. An account with edit access to the targeted project is required, and successful exploitation is limited to the ShowDoc database context documented by the published impact metrics.
