A memory leak in Microsoft Windows DHCP Server allows remote authenticated users to interrupt DHCP service over a network. Microsoft states that memory remains allocated after its effective lifetime but does not identify the affected routine or request field. Reaching the flaw requires DHCP Server authorization; repeated triggering can exhaust memory and deny DHCP service.
