CVE-2026-6947

Device takeover via login-attempt limit bypass

Published Apr 24, 2026 · Updated Apr 24, 2026

Brute-force protection bypass in D-Link DWM-222W before 1.02.00 allows remote attackers to evade login-attempt limits. The CNA has not published the affected login endpoint or how repeated requests evade the counter that enforces the limit. The attacker must reach the device from the same network and still recover valid credentials; successful guessing grants device control.
