Local privilege escalation via COM use-after-free

Use-after-free in Microsoft COM for Windows allows local users with low privileges to elevate privileges on affected Windows releases. Microsoft identifies COM as the affected component but has not published the object lifetime error, callable interface, or trigger that leaves freed memory in use. Exploitation requires local low-privileged access, no user interaction, and high-complexity conditions; success crosses a local privilege boundary.
