Browser script execution via crafted link
Published Aug 21, 2026 · Updated Aug 21, 2026
Reflected XSS in Esri Portal for ArcGIS 11.1 through 11.5 allows remote attackers to execute JavaScript in a victim's browser via a crafted link. Esri has not disclosed the affected request handler or parameter, or how its value reaches an HTML response without sufficient output neutralization. Exploitation requires no account but requires a victim to click the link; the script runs in the portal's browser origin and can affect browser-accessible data and actions.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
