Privileged JavaScript execution via stored XSS
Published Aug 21, 2026 · Updated Aug 21, 2026
Stored XSS in Esri Portal for ArcGIS 11.1 through 11.5 allows remote authenticated users to run JavaScript in a victim's browser. Esri has not disclosed the input field, request handler, or rendering path that stores and later emits the attacker-controlled content. Exploitation requires privileged portal access, and the payload executes in another user's browser with access to that user's portal session.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
